Who are the vocal coaches at Yuan Meng Asia?
Our coaches include Master Coach Bryan Toro, Zhiyang (Singapore), Rex Wee (Taiwan), and Korean coaches Hyemin and Hye Been. Each brings a unique international experience to your vocal journey.
Is Yuan Meng Asia suitable for beginners and adults?
Yes! We welcome learners of all levels and ages. Whether you’re starting from zero or reigniting a passion, our coaches will tailor the programme to you.
Do you offer both in-person and online lessons?
Yes, we provide flexible options to fit your schedule and learning preferences.
You can choose to take your lessons in-person at our studio, where you'll have access to our professional equipment and a dynamic, supportive environment.
Alternatively, we offer high-quality online lessons via video conferencing. This allows you to learn from the comfort of your home, eliminating travel time while still receiving personalised, one-on-one coaching.
Where is Yuan Meng Asia located in Singapore?

Do you offer online vocal training outside Singapore?
Yes. We teach students across Asia and beyond through live GoogleMeet/Zoom coaching sessions.
How do I decide between an individual class and a group class?
The best choice truly depends on your personal goals and learning style.
Individual lessons are ideal if you are looking for highly personalised coaching. With one-on-one instruction, your coach can tailor every lesson to your specific needs, focusing on your unique voice and helping you make rapid progress on your personal goals.
Group classes are a great option if you thrive in a community setting. They are more affordable and provide a wonderful opportunity to learn from and be inspired by your peers. It's a fantastic way to build confidence performing in a supportive group and connect with fellow music lovers.

Vocal Lessons & Training
What types of singing lessons do you offer?
We offer vocal coaching across a wide range of styles, including pop, K-pop, and Mandopop. Our programs are designed to support singers of all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced performers.
Are lessons available in English, Mandarin, or Korean?
Yes. Lessons are conducted in multiple languages, depending on the coach you choose.
How are online lessons conducted?
You’ll need a laptop (GoogleMeet/Zoom) and a mobile (全民K歌 app). We’ll guide you through the setup in your onboarding.
Can I book a trial session before enrolling?
Yes. Trial bookings are available and encouraged so you can get a feel of your vocal range and coaching match.
Am I considered a professional singer after completing the Yuan Meng Asia experience?
The Yuan Meng Asia experience is designed to help you bring your musical passion to life by providing you with various singing experiences. It's a journey of personal achievement, not a path to becoming a professional singer, which requires years of specialised training and industry accreditation.

Are recording sessions or music video production part of the curriculum?
Yes! Our studio offers recording sessions and video production packages as part of our programme.
What should I prepare before my studio recording day?
Avoid spicy/fried foods

Do I need prior singing experience before recording?
Not at all. Many of our students are first-time singers. We’ll guide you step-by-step until you’re ready.
Events & Performance
What kind of performance opportunities do you offer for students?
We believe that performing live is an essential part of the musical journey. We hold regular, community-based live events where students can perform in an intimate and supportive setting. These are intimate gatherings where you can build confidence and perform in a welcoming environment, and all enrolled students are invited to take part.
Can I perform live as a Yuan Meng Asia student?
Yes! We believe that performing live is an essential part of the musical journey. We host a variety of showcases and events, and your coach will work with you to decide when you are ready to perform, ensuring you have a positive and rewarding experience on stage.
Do Yuan Meng Asia students take part in competitions?
Yes! Our students are encouraged to participate in competitions and have had great success. We are proud that some have even represented Singapore at international events, such as the European Choir Games.
Student Experience & Logistics
How do I prepare for an online lesson?
Download GoogleMeet/Zoom and 全民 Party, set up two devices, and join with earphones for best results.
What should I prepare for my trial session?
To make the most of your trial session, we recommend bringing a few items:
A list of 5 songs: These should be songs you love and are comfortable singing. They will help your coach understand your vocal range, style, and what you'd like to work on.
A notebook and pen: You may want to jot down any tips, exercises, or feedback from your coach.
A bottle of water: Staying hydrated is key for vocal health.
A light jacket or sweater: Our studios are air-conditioned, so a jacket will help you stay comfortable throughout the session.
Most importantly, come with an open mind and a willingness to explore your musical journey!
Will my trial session be one-on-one?
Yes! Our trial session is designed to be a completely personalised experience. You will have a private, one-on-one session with your vocal coach, allowing you to get a feel for our unique, individualised approach to training and a chance for us to understand your specific musical goals.
Is there an age limit to join the programme?
No. We welcome students of all ages. For those under 18, parental consent is required.
What is the lesson rescheduling policy, and how many times can I reschedule my lesson?
We want to ensure every student has a consistent and effective learning experience. To help you get the most out of your training, we have a simple and clear rescheduling policy.
You may reschedule a lesson up to two times.
All changes must be requested with a minimum of 48 hours' notice.
This policy allows us to manage our coaches' schedules and studio availability effectively while ensuring you maintain momentum in your vocal progress. Lessons that are cancelled or rescheduled within the 48-hour notice period will be counted as a completed lesson.
What is your policy for rescheduling a studio recording session?
If you need to reschedule your vocal recording session, please notify us at least one week in advance. We will be happy to assist you in rearranging your studio session for a new date.
Packages & Payment
What are the available payment methods?
Payment can be made via Stripe or PayPal upon signing up for the package.
When do I need to make payment?
Full payment is required upfront when confirming your package.
How long is my package or lesson valid for?
Package validity is 3 months from the invoice date. Lessons are valid for 6 weeks from the start date.
Can I get a refund if I don’t complete the package?
No. All packages are non-refundable once activated.
